Re: Dodgy Day. Saturday 7th May
Going to try and get along and introduce myself. I coach an u11 football team and we are playing away at Yamanto, mid-morning. Looks to be pretty close to DD HQ. If I can get one of the parents to take my son home after the game it will free me up to come and say hello.

If you go Billy, don't let anyone talk you into adjusting anything on the suspension of the car. It was set up by me, a legend in my own lunch box......
And it's a pity Corners won't be there, the car could probably do with a bit of a buff and polish to make it redder and shinier.....

I plan to be there also. Don't have much to do this time, but I'm happy enough to help out, chat and eat chicken wings

MattR can we at least scale it and or can we just gaze upon it from a distance
ManiacLachy always welcome and yes there will be chicken wings and Lokiel is possibly cooking a few roast. Jaye will also be offering tours of the front yard in his buggy, may have to open up the back yard for tours however there is a dam...
The chicken wings will be smoked and marinated in buttermilk overnight (as per normal) but changing the dry rub to an experimental version with more 'kick'

Oh, I might do a weighing out of curiosity. And I'm sure I'll be bashing my head and knees in that buggy with Jaye!

Re: Dodgy Day. Saturday 7th May
Anybody feel like re-positioning flares, cutting the sh*t out of guards and dumping an NA on wheels that are ridiculously too big for it?
Just kidding.
I'll try and come say hi in the arvo after work though!

Just kidding.

I'm sure Lokiel will be more than happy to install 18" rims onto any NA
I believe that SPR has a wonderful red NA with black flares, is this the same one?

Re: Dodgy Day. Saturday 7th May

I know of a red clubman in SPR that is possibly getting black flares as we speak, not sure if its going ahead or not yet.
I need to reposition the flares on my NA6 to be a tad higher on the body and cut the guards so I can get the entire car back to being lower without scrubbing on every single bump I go over

If everyone brings a couple of snacks (chips, nuts, biscuits, pretzels) and a couple of big bottles of drink (Pepsi Max, Solo, Pepsi Max, Pepsi Max) there'll be plenty to go around.

First in, best dressed, especially if you have anything to do under the car, or else "your ass is grass"
The trickier the job, the earlier you should get there.
I actually don't have anything to do on my car, so will pretty much be assisting others. Or supervising.... yeah supervising is good.

Just gaze upon it from a distance.......

Or make it shinier........
Or take Lokiel for a death ride on the 16" wheels If they are still fitted......
