I'd rather peddle a bike than drive a floating barge. SUVs disgust me. So uncool.

One problem I'm having with the Ltd Ed RF is the dearth of information regarding it. I'm assembling images that I think represent the Ltd Ed RF and sharing it with everyone. Here are the Recaros. Nothing better than to drop the roof and have the embossed Recaro badge showing loud and clear. In terms of the cabin, all the RF needed was Recaro seats.

Absolutely delicious. The way an MX5 should look

The Recaro's are Mazda seat frames upholstered by recaro. They do look great but if you have back trouble in the factory seat you will have back trouble in the recaro seat.. The BBS wheels are around 15lb each and are $800USD each in the USA (god knows how much they are AUD). You can get 15lb wheels for $150 (not forged though). As for a front strut tower brace, check out the new Carbing unit, a full D shaped brace with a brake master cylinder stopper built in and around $500AUD plus shipping if you can find the right shipper. I really like the look of the RF but nothing beats a roof that goes up and down in 3 seconds at 80km/h and has less wind noise when down. When Mazda finally acknowledges that a few extra lbs spring rate in the rear suspension springs is not a major suspension mod is when handling and performance differences between variants might mean something.

Nah, these seats are the bomb. Please don't mention that abomination called Arbarth 124 spyder.

Too many people on youtube, for whom a sports car is totally unsuitable, air their irrelevant opinions.'Too many pies' is your fault. Did anyone see the review of the Nismo 370z on Drive.com.au? Did you notice the size of the reviewer? It was disgusting to see such a hippo stuffed into the small Nismo. Nothing could be more unnatural, including the opinions expressed.

As an aside, I was going to buy the Nismo 370z for myself in march of next year. I was born to own this car. However, I can order the Nismo anytime, but the Ltd Ed RF is a limited production of only 110 units. So it made sense to get it first for my wife, who loves MX5s. Her NC3 has given her 5 years of pure unadulterated automotive pleasure.

Aren’t they the same seats as what’s going into the Are-Eff?

Whats wrong with calling fat people fat? LOL.
Same as calling an orange, orange. Very factual.
I wouldn't say its hypocritical because we don't know if Pete is fat......yet.

Although I do question Pete about the comments being made on Youtube reviews (I assume he means online in general as well) are irrelevant. Does that include us as well???
Unless of course they are being made by some fat guy on YouTube complaining about the lack of space to spill over in compared to his Commodore. :D

The rear end of the Abarth 124 is awesome. Mini Viper!!!
At the last Concourse/Presidents Picnic after seeing an Abarth next to a ND and ND RF, the Abarth just looked much better proportioned.
Just not a fan of the 1.4L engine. Put the 1.75L in it and I'm interested, after some used car devaluation of course. 8)
I'd still take the ND front end.
We need to start the trend of the Silvia guys, SilEighty, Onevia :JDM: etc. A MX-Barth. LOL.

So Pete have you dríven a 370Z?
I have wondered for years why they sell more Auto's and so many people complain about the Manual. After test driving one I understood.
The clutch pedal is heavier than a brake pedal. It makes changing gears a task that you want to avoid. Sort of car you drive and go screw it, 1st, 3rd, 5th to avoid the clutch.
The car is small on paper, but if feels like you are driving a tank. It doesn't feel like a nimble sports car like it should. It feels like a big GT car.
There is minimal head room. Mainly because the front seats do not go low enough. Maybe the Nismo Recaros help here. Good for 5 foot short people.
The craziest part is they have some major technical flaws. There engine oil overheats if you drive them hard, needing an aftermarket oil cooler. Not even the Nismo model address' this yet all models have an oil temp gauge to show the driver that the car is flawed in this area. Turning hard Right corners can cause fuel starvation once the tank is 3/4 or below.
Non adjustable front Camber or Caster!!! What sort of sports car is it supposed to be without being adjustable.
They do feel very well built though and do drive really nice. I can't believe I'm saying this but an Auto one would be a very nice everyday car to drive. Just don't try and track it in standard form without an oil cooler and full tank of fuel.
Bet you those online reviews don't go into these technicalities.
You only find that stuff out by reading forums, like this one.

Not hypocritical RE fat issues.....is the irrelevant opinion comment. Its just boring blatant stirring now. This thread was kinda like masturbating with a cheese grater- mildly amusing, but mostly painful!

And it appears as though he has plenty of it too.
When you turn your car on, does it return the favour?

Pete's a stirrer for sure but nevertheless we get opinions and information about cars which we can take or leave. I have picked up some good information which has modified some of my views. I have not dríven a Nismo but a bit of searching around does not exactly cover the car in glory and its really a coupe- the soft top is really pretty ugly to me. But I bet for performance its a rocket and certainly cheaper that BMW and Porsche i.e. affordability.

One thing about Recaro is that in some situations its a bit of problem because you cannot easily get out of the seat. Personally if I am having trouble getting in or out of a car - then I might prefer a standard seat for everyday driving -. Just a thought.

I did notice the usual reservations about autos but the manual is a vanishing breed for good reasons. Some cars just have poor manual changes and snatchy clutches that make driving in increasing traffic a misery.
