Hi there folks, frantically scratching around for some oil squirters to complete a build – does anyone know if the 1.6 squirters are the same or interchangeable with the 1.8 squirters?
Or alternatively if anyone else out there has 1.8 squirters to selL, I would be most grateful if you let me know.
Cheers.

Same as far as I can tell from the service manuals.
Does say to replace the two washers per oil jet.

Re: Are 1.6 & 1.8 oil squirters the same?
Part numbers are different.
90 and 91/92 catalogues say B660-10-580A
95/96 and 99 catalogues say BP01-10-580 then 580A from early NA8 Edit:typo in part number
Doesn't necessarily mean they're different though.
Edit: Jim Ellis on-line parts says the B660-10-580B replaces B660-10-580A and suits all 1.6 variants from 1988 to 2003. They list the BP01 version for miata motors from 1995 to 2005
Edit 2: every Mazda BP motor from 1990 to 2005 uses the same squirter.
