that's frightening and mental trauma alone may have lasting consequences. You would wonder how occupants survived based on the appearance of the vehicle.

It is good to see that the factory rollhoops and the strong window frame protected the occupants so well. Shows that the skeptics who pooh-poohed these safety features when the NC was launched seriously underestimated their value.

Ouch!! Looking at the photo, looks fairly flat road, possibly even straight(ish) road, not particularly windy hill fun road - wonder what happenned?

that car did not have roll bars - the last photo looks like someone cut it off at the waist line. Reportedly rollovers in convertibles on the road is not common. Roll bars like we see on the forum arguably are for racetracks and many people complain about headroom etc. Many road cars get rear ended and a roll bar may actually strike your head. There seems a paucity of facts "on the risk". I reckon that if its a real concern then we trade our little convertibles in which are already under threat by giants being dríven by folks fiddling with phones or listening to their favourite noisy distracting music. But I agree with Rocky its not a good look.

The NC has roll bars which are part of the structure and are covered by the visible plastic "hoops" behind the seats. They look flimsy but are effective. You can see one that is propping up the inverted car (pax side) and a very deformed one on the driver's side in the holding yard photo.
