Re: Patchy's Fawlty Towers risk management. Enter at own risk
well as usual Ive ignored patchy for some time and it has now become a rush to get the engine in & re-registered. I'm moving house & the new house has no off street parking , or garage.
This weekends job is to re do the cams gaps.and get the head screwed down solid
after getting the valves redone thy were all .2mm closer or deeper into the head so the gaps of the cam & lifter is too close.
new heavier springs have also been installed to cope with the big came at a later stage.
The decision has been made to re-install the standard cams for now so Patchy has an easier time to pass the blue slip cause shes been out of rego for around 6 month now.
the MS2 will get removed & the standard ECU will get reinstalled. same with the AFM
the standard exsaust header will also be used
on the verge of purchasing a new clutch.
its now all about getting the engine in & getting some rust cut out so she can pass the blue slip.
I need to also get more familiar with what is involved with the blue slip.

If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.
