Know the feeling there mate!

Primed the oil galleries with a plunger pump plumbed to sensor port.

Final engine assembly continues, tonight I'm getting the crank and cam sensor dialled into adaptronic.
The cam sensor has been modified with only a single tooth for home signal and i use a crank sensor and 12 tooth trigger setup on the supermiata damper for triggering.
Also managed to bring back the odyssey pc680 battery from the dead with a new powertech plus charger...super amped about that..

Cleaned the leaves and muck from my front guards.

Considering I’ve never done it in the 7 years I’ve had Silvie it wasn’t that bad.

Fitted a new clutch slave cylinder. Not as easy as the YouTube videos make it look, but no surprises there.

Just did one of the final tasks in returning this car to a road car today after being primarily a track car for years.

Alignment settings have been brought back from -4.0F/-3.5R deg camber, slight toe-out front and 4.5F castor down to -2.0F/-1.5R camber, zero toe all round and 5.5F castor.

The car feels very strange, more like a sports car again instead of a nervous little kart on steroids.

Rented it a garage so it doesn't have to live out in the open. Thanks to whoever recommended Spacer in another thread, it's like Airbnb for parking.

I found the same when replacing the fuel filter. Didn't look that difficult, until I needed a third arm to stop fuel going everywhere.

Yep, just brake fluid in my case.

Congrats Dan, love that ITB sound.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Thanks mate,
another quick clip of it firing to life after a couple of years of horsing about.
Newish 10:1 comp bottom end, 0.075" shave off head, more bowl and port work with cc balanced chambers. 0.040" cometic head gasket for a little clearance as sh#t got close even with only 9mm lift and 256 duration.
Same toda cams, new valves, subs etc, maxim works, rs factory nzero 60mm resonated catback.
Little lightweight tomei(?) 200mm flywheel and exedy na6 5 paddle sprung centre to make it all spin quick and make the "Grand Larsony" fairly sik 4.44:1Torsen2 diff work for a living.
Big, short 850cc ID injectors to make retuning fun, had maps from last block tune which made it fire right up after a prayer on my grandads' watch around gearshifter...

Cheers mate, doesn't hold a candle to the bodywork on your 5 though.
Mine, 10 feet away you can't spot her sins. Get close and the scars appear.
Doubt I'd find a blemish on your beauty worth a whip with a rag.
The fuse box lid on mine is indeed a little easier on the eye now though

Yep Chuppa. +25 offset.
Now the guards need a little massaging to stop the tyres fouling.
