Re: What's happened to MIATA.NET?
Ok did all that and thought it was the Ad blocker causing shenanigans.
It wasn't, so all I was left with was a months worth of timeout messages.. until today.
For a while I can view the website then a message appears.
The plot then thickens,
"We have been experiencing denial of service attacks. As a result, we are temporarily requiring users to be logged in to view the forum content. We know this is an inconvenience and we apologize. However, this measure is necessary to prevent our servers from crashing until we can implement a more robust defense.
You are not logged in or you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
You are not logged in. Fill in the form at the bottom of this page and try again.
You may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation."
Not sure if it is legit or not.
So I log in with no drama.
No idea why I was the only one affected.
Case closed?

Might have affected me if I read the site for longer, but I only did a quick check to see if there was visibility without logging in, which there was, as there was just now when I checked again.
